Always Learning With Online Courses

Note: This is a re-post from my old Blog. I'm still actively using Skillshare and the post is definitely worth repeating 😊

I'm always on the lookout to learn new Art-related things and visit YouTube daily for any paper crafting or drawing or doodling videos. While watching one such video, the author shared a link to a training subscription site, Skillshare, which was new to me at the time.

Well, long story short, I got hooked and subscribed pretty much on the spot. I have watched a ton of courses since then and I must say, the subscription is definitely worth the money. I really like that most of the classes are relatively short, so you can easily carve out a little time to watch a complete course.

There are so many to chose from, but recently I have been looking at a lot of courses for illustrating and creating on the iPad using the Procreate App. And one of my favorite Instructors is Liz Kohler Brown. Here are just a few of the awesome classes I’ve taken:

Paint Tropical Watercolor Fruit on Your iPad in Procreate

Create Fonts on Your iPad in iFont in a Few Easy Steps

"You can create your own font set in only a few minutes that you use for personal use or for your business. You could even sell your fonts, or offer them as free downloads online."

Chalk Hand Lettering on Your iPad in Procreate

"Create chalkboard hand lettering on your iPad. Even if you’ve never tried hand lettering or if you don't like your handwriting, you can still create a beautiful hand lettered chalk quote."

Click any of the links above to get two Free weeks of access to these or any other courses on Skillshare. I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do. Sometimes I wish there were more hours in the day to watch more classes.
